# Best practice of Snapshot on multiple cluster cross data center

We have three ES clusters built on three data centers. We have ingestion pipeline to push index data to three clusters.

So for snapshot, shall I snapshot three clusters into three repositories (on three DCs) respectively, or just snapshot one cluster since all three cluster have same data?
