# Bind node local files to shard

hi

for a plugin i write i need to make sure that specific files created by my  
plugin are moved around with a specific shard - so if a relocation is  
happening, the files are moved to the other node too. the files could be  
moved like the lucene index files in Engine.RecoveryHandler (see  
snapshot.getFiles) but it seems that there is no way to hook some logic  
into this place without changing elasticsearch code.

any clues?
