# Block installation of bundled Npcap via Network Packet Capture integration?

[My old thread](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/packetbeat-npac-version-and-defender-for-identity/323230) is closed so I'm creating a new one.

We updated our Elastic Agent to v8.7.0 in order to use the new feature to block installation of the bundled Npcap library. Unfortunately this option is not available in the Network Packet Capture integration of the elastic-agent.

@jamie.hynds @efd6  
Is there any plan to also adjust this?
