# Boost\_factor deprecated?

hi,

I have a question real quick.  
It seems like boost\_factor option (functions in function\_score) is deprecated and replaced to weight.  
Is it right?

If it is true, from which version it is changed like that?  
And why still boost\_factor is in the list of automatic code generation in kibana?
