# Boost result ranking based on users past usage/activity

With ES, is it possible to boost ranking of a result based on the
users past usage/activity related to that result?
For eg., A user might search for last name "Smi" which returns 10
results. We know that the user has selected/worked on the result
"Smith" in the past and would like that result to be at the top.
Is this possible to be done with ES in any way?

ie., Is it possible to personalize Search Results with ES/Lucene?

No, that's not possible with out of the box Solr, Lucene, or ES.
