# Boosting date parameter

Hi All,

I have a doc search where i am performing search based on some terms and search is fine.now i want to perform search operation such a way that the term we are searching it should search in current month docs , last month docs , next previous month logs etc...so results should display in current month docs contains this term , last month docs contains this term etc.... Can we boost date field is it to get this type search scenarios?

version of ES using : 1.5.2

i found one link to do this can i perform search like this.
