# Bug : input type logstash aws

i use logstash in AWS linux  
NAME="Amazon Linux AMI"  
VERSION="2017.09"  
ID="amzn"  
ID\_LIKE="rhel fedora"  
VERSION\_ID="2017.09"  
PRETTY\_NAME="Amazon Linux AMI 2017.09"  
ANSI\_COLOR="0;33"  
CPE\_NAME="cpe:/o:amazon:linux:2017.09:ga"  
HOME\_URL="[http://aws.amazon.com/amazon-linux-ami/](http://aws.amazon.com/amazon-linux-ami/)"  
Amazon Linux AMI release 2017.09

i konw that logstash not supported in AWS linux  
but i have a bug

input {  
beats {  
port =\> 5045  
type =\> "test"  
}  
}

output {  
if [type] == "test" {

....  
}  
}

it can't match the test type for the output/filter!

winlogbeat is overwriting this "type" from the Logstash config

but i works for the tag
