# Bulk API - is "delete by query" possible?

Can I do a delete by query ([http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/](http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/)  
reference/api/delete-by-query.html) in bulk api call (http://  
[www.elasticsearch.org/guide/reference/api/bulk.html](http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/reference/api/bulk.html)) ?
