# Caching query results

Hello,

I am trying to cache the query results, by sending ?request\_cache=true  
also i can see that the cache size is increasing, but i don't see any improvement in response time.  
Basically what is happening is, when we get a lot of requests, due to say a campaign, then the response time for ES queries is increasing from few ms to hundreds of ms.

Any guidance would be appreciated.
