# Calculating before input plugin

Hey, i need to calculate index for elasticsearch input based on the current date i've seen there is an option in elasticsearch to send an index as {now/d{dd/mm/yyyy}} but im aggregating data using elastic on the last 5 minutes so when the current time is less than 00.05 I need to query 2 indices, today's and tomorrow's. Is there any way for me to calculate the index before the input plugin or even a built in feature is elasticsearch?
