# Calculating size for status

Is there a proper way to calculate EPS or GB per day using Elasticsearch or Kibana dashboards?

I'm not sure what you mean by proper. What dataset are you wanting to calculate the EPS for?

Hello, Carly. Thank you for the response.

I don't remember actually why I wrote this, but what I meant for sure is a method to give me the most accurate calculation instead of calculating (data stream full size/ingestion days)

@YousefNein What version are you on?

If you are on a newer version 8.17+ you can use the Elastic Agent Elasticsearch monitoring
