# Can an fleet server be configured using http

so following the official document [Step 7: Install Fleet Server](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elastic-stack/8.15/installing-stack-demo-self.html#install-stack-self-fleet-server) when i try to add my host address like `http://10.128.0.203:8220` i get the error` Invalid URL (must be an https URL)`. what should i do?

Hi @jack_a,

I'm not sure if you got an answer before. But the issue would be your URL should be https enabled.
