Hi,
We have already indexed data with location geo\_shape.
mapping
"location": {
"type": "geo\_shape",
"points\_only" : true
}
indexed as
"location": {
"coordinates": [
"72.82568500000001",
"19.208425"
],
"type": "point"
}

1. Will we be able to \_reindex geo\_shape to new mapping as geo\_point ?

My requirement is to save only a point(lat, lng) and want to check whether this point fall inside a polygon.

1. For this which datatype is the best way of implementation in terms of speed and reliability. ?
