# Can es shards allocate to nodes based on disk capacity？

es doc said `cluster.routing.allocation.disk.threshold_enabled` can control shard allocate when some node has low disk watermark.  
but my question is can es allocate shards based on disk capacity Evenly distributed？？  
my problem now is one node in the cluster has only 1T disk，while other nodes has 5T each，how can data allocate Evenly

Allocation is done by shard count, not disk size.
