When I'm trying to set a relative time - 25 hours ago or 29 days - for some display, the display automatically rounds it to '~ 1 day' or '~ 1 month', and then when I want to tweak it to 26 hours or 30 days, the dialogue offers me 1 day or 1 month, and I have to set the units back in addition to having to type the number in full, not merely being able to tweak the number by adding one.

How do I tell Kibana not to approximate my values or ignore my choice of units?

Hi @Tim_Baverstock

No, this is not possible yet in Kibana.
You can open a feature enhancement here to request it here: [Sign in to GitHub · GitHub](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new/choose)

I see the native EUI component supports a `canRoundRelativeUnits ` [here](https://eui.elastic.co/#/templates/super-date-picker) but that is not used by Kibana.
