# Can I send Cloudwatch logs to Elasticsearch without Logstash?

We'd like to have the AWS Cloudwatch logs in ElasticSearch.

Would it be possible to implement this, without using Logstash and the [Cloudwatch input plugin](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-inputs-cloudwatch.html)?
