# Can I specify a logstash destination for filebeat xpack.monitoring?

Hello,

according to [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/6.2/monitoring.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/6.2/monitoring.html)  
is there also a possibility to specify a logstash destination for xpack.monitoring instead of elasticsearch.

My filebeat-node is in a different network segment and I want to forward the monitoring data via a reachable logstash-node to my central elasticnode which is not direct reachable.

Not at this time.

This is a common requirement we hear and we do want to add support for it in the future.
