# Can Kibana do DNS lookups on IP addresses ingested for enriching the data, without using Logstash

The DC logs ingested needs to be enriched further to get the host names. How is it possible to do without a Logstash in place.

Depends how you send the data to Elasticsearch.  
You could use an ingest node.
