# Can metricbeat System module process metricset add io info?

hi, the process metricset has collected process cpu and mem, but not io info.  
the process io will add into process metricset ?  
on linux, io can get from /proc//io

This is an interesting idea, as you may know we only support IO stats for the system [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/metricbeat/5.4/metricbeat-metricset-system-diskio.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/metricbeat/5.4/metricbeat-metricset-system-diskio.html). Perhaps you can open an issue in our github [https://github.com/elastic/beats/issues](https://github.com/elastic/beats/issues). Please explain how you picture the feature and as much details as possible on how would you get that info.

Of course contributions are also really welcomed 🙂
