# Can we globally store the alert recipient mail and use it as to address watcher email actions

Our aim is to store the mail address as global and use that email address in email actions in watcher as `TO` address.can you suggest is it possible?

Hi @Akhil_Mohan,  
I believe what you're looking for might be the [email\_defaults](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/notification-settings.html#email-notification-settings) configuration.

I'm not particularly familiar with Watcher, but my understanding is that this configuration should set a default value for the `to` field.
