# Can we set up multiple output in metricbeat?

Hello,

I want to set up multiple outputs in metricbeat.yml, Is it possible we can set up?  
output.elasticsearch:  
hosts: ["[abc.com](http://abc.com)"]  
username: "xxxxx"  
Password: "xxxx"

output.elasticsearch:  
hosts: ["[xyz.com](http://xyz.com)"]  
username: "xxxxx"  
Password: "xxxx"

Hey @abhi.logs welcome to discuss 🙂

Beats don't support sending events to multiple outputs. For that you would need to run two instances of metricbeat with the same configuration except for the output and different data directories.

The other option is to send to Logstash and send to multiple outputs from there.
