# Can we use fileBeat to send jSON logs?

Hello @jpereira,

Yes it's possible to process logs that have a JSON payload using the json options for the [prospector](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/6.1/configuration-filebeat-options.html#config-json)
