# Can winlogbeat works with powershell version 2?

Hi Everyone,

I am unable to start the winlogbeat in powershell version 2.

is there any documentation about how to work winlogbeat with powershell version 2.

Hi @magnusbaeck , thanks for your reply. please find the below details of my command and result for it.

PS C:\Program Files\winlogbeat\> .\install-service-winlogbeat.ps1

Security Warning  
Run only scripts that you trust. While scripts from the Internet can be useful, this script can potentially harm your  
computer. Do you want to run C:\Program Files\winlogbeat\install-service-winlogbeat.ps1?  
[D] Do not run [R] Run once [S] Suspend [?] Help (default is "D"): R

Status Name DisplayName

* * *

Stopped winlogbeat winlogbeat

the above is the output I am getting for starting winlogbeat in powershell version 2.
