# Cannot add S3 snapshot repository to ECE

hi  
I cannot add S3 minio bucket as a snapshot repository to ECE.

ECE version 2.7.1

all ECE hosts can access minio bucket with rw permission

First I tried to add the bucket using API of a test deployment

but I got the error below

so, I tried to add the bucket to the Platfrom, and it has been added..

and on the test deployment I can select it

I opened kibana, found a complain about error in the repository

when I press "verify Repository" I got the same error above

back to the cloud UI, I opened the test deployment, pressed "run snasphot now", I got error "no such snapshot lifecycle policy [cloud-snapshot-policy]"
