# Cannot get filebeat 5,4,1 to send logs to logstash 5.4.1

I've just installed a fresh ELK stack version 5.4.1. Everything goes well but logstash fails to listen to port 5044. when I run netstat -pnltu, I do not see any port on which its listening. I;ve turned off the firewall. what could be the problem ?
