# Cannot install elastic agent on window server

Hi All,

I'm new to Elastic and recently attempted to install Elastic Agent on my Azure VMs. Unfortunately, the installation failed. One strange thing I noticed is that although the result indicates failure, the Elastic Agent service appears on the system—but its status is "stopped." Additionally, I couldn't locate any folder related to the agent.

My goal is to completely remove all components associated with Elastic Agent so I can perform a clean reinstallation.

Could you please suggest the best approach or share any tools or scripts from the community that can help with a thorough cleanup?
