Hello everyone !

After a update of Kibana, the new feature where we can add a color for number is very important for me and my network team.

But where i want a add a field type number Kibana think it's a string...

My config test :

```
if [openViewSeverity] == "Major" {
				mutate {
					add_field => {
						"severity" => "critical"
						severity_level_test => 2
					}
				}
			}
```

Why kibana says severity\_level\_test is a string not a number ?

Thank you so much for your reply.

Resolved.

Just add a grok patern like this :

> ```
> grok {
> match => {
> "level_severity" => ["%{INT:number_level_severity2:int}"]
> }
> }
>
> ```
