# Cant connect to local host with plugins

I have an ES cluster setup and they have the all have `network.host: _non_loopback_` in their configuration. Now with this how do I effectively utilize plugins like Marvel or Curator if I cant connect? I can point the plugins to other hosts, but not local.

Just use the IP of the node instead?

I have tried its IP and I get the same result.
