# Can't create index in Kibana

Hi! i'm new in this community,  
I cant create a index in Kibana. I dont see the button grey of "Create".

I just installed ELK.

That there is an extremely old version of Kibana. Is there a reason for using that version? Do you already have an existing Elasticsearch cluster you're looking to connect to? If so, what version is it?

Hi,

I was finally able to install ELK 7.7 on Windows Server 2012(x64).  
But Failed to create elasticsearch as a windows service.

Set JAVA\_HOME with te value C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11.  
I could install, but Could not start elasticsearch-service-x64. Error 1067.

Any ideas?.  
I can create the service with nssm?.

I find the solution to the error 1067 creating ELK (Elasticsearch + Logstash + Kibana) .bat with the nssm.exe and i did not have problems!.
