# Can't install logstash-output-influxdb plugin

I have installed without any problems on LS 8.6

> Validating logstash-output-influxdb  
> Resolving mixin dependencies  
> Installing logstash-output-influxdb  
> Installation successful  
> There is an option to [install from gem](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/how-to-install-logstash-output-influxdb-offline-in-logstash/226193).  
> Or if is possible, just temporary open direct connection to internet.
