# Can't login to kibana after upgrade 5.5.2 -\> 5.6

after upgrade ( and not modifying any conf files )  
licence route reports valid license  
Kibana states:  
login is currently disabled because the license could not determined

get this in elasticsearch when starting kibana but can access these indizes with a manual search query
