# Can't see metricbeat logs

Hi together

Do you know why i can't see since creating of metricbeat any logfiles here ?

Hi @Swathi12

Apologies it is unclear what you are asking, there is not enough information.

The Top screen shot **appears** to be the logs that are generated By Metricbeat, this are the logs from the metricbeat processes are operating and are not automatically sent to elasticsearch. This is not the actual metrics data but logs from the metricebeat process.

The Bottom screenshot **appears** to be the metricbeat indices that contain the actual metrics such as CPU, RAM etc.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Ok thanks for clarifying. I thought this logs and the metric indices are correlate.
