# Can't use \_doc as type despite it being declared the preferred method

I believe I was testing 6.1 or maybe a 6.0 version at the time. I can't upgrade to 6.x yet because of [Creating new types in 6.0](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/creating-new-types-in-6-0/111350/6).
