# Canvas make autorefresh permanent for user with lower permissions

Hi, It is posible to make autorefresh in canvas permanent? it seems that every time that the canvas app is loaded you have to set the autorefresh value

Hey there! There isn't a way to do this at the moment. There is an enhancement request currently open if you'd like to add your use case: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/82352](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/82352)

However, whenever you set the autorefresh parameter for a workpad, it adds a parameter to the Canvas workpad's URL. So, if you use that URL again in the future, it'll automatically set the autorefresh value from the URL.  
The URL should look something like: `https://kibana-host.com/app/canvas#/workpad/workpad-7a30a1cb-e1e1-4389-9a44-e02003b9b70f/page/1?__refreshInterval=5m`
