# Canvas part of x-pack?

I have seen the keynote of elastic-on 17, and i got really curios about canvas.

Is is going to be a native plugin like timelion or a part of x-pack?

Right now we're just focused on making canvas awesome, licensing is something that we haven't nailed down yet. Stay tuned!
