Hey @Marcos_David_Moreno, here is another post where Clint describes in detail how to make a Canvas plugin.

> In the [intro to canvas webinar](https://www.elastic.co/webinars/intro-to-canvas-a-new-way-to-tell-visual-stories-in-kibana), Rashid khan mentions a plugin interface that allows users to add their own custom Canvas Elements. But I couldn't find any documentation for the same. Any pointers to how to develop new Canvas elements (say heatmaps)? Thank you

Thank you Tim for your response. I have review this discuss and I have a structure similiar in my plugin.

But I would like to create a canvas server functions to connect with queryEsSQL.js. Is it possible? I don´t know if I can to create this types of functions in a plugin.

I have found other option: To use elasticsearch javascript client.

What do you think is the best option?
