Hello,

Like we have cascade on update and cascade on delete in SQL , do we have
any such functionality in ElasticSearch?

Not exactly but I think you can use [http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/docs-delete-by-query.html#docs-delete-by-query](http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/docs-delete-by-query.html#docs-delete-by-query) to remove all children corresponding to a given parent and then remove the parent?

I suppose you are talking about parent / child feature right?
