elasticsearch speaks http, so getting this certificate is like [getting a CA certificate from a web site](https://development.libelium.com/programming-cloud-service-guide/how-to-get-the-ca-certificate-for-https-connections). It needs to be a .pem file, which is what you should end up with if you do what it says in that link. If for some reason you have a binary certificate then convert it.
