Our next Elastic meetup in Western Switzerland will take place in Lausanne and be hosted by our good friends at [Liip](https://www.liip.ch). We're glad to announce two great talks: The first talk by **Mohameth François Sy** (from [EPFL Blue Brain Project](https://www.epfl.ch/research/domains/bluebrain/blue-brain/people/section-managers-group-leaders/mohameth-francois-sy/)) will focus on Knowledge Graph Embeddings and ElasticSearch for large-scale content-based Recommender Systems. After that, **Nicolas Ruflin** (from [Elastic](https://www.elastic.co)) will tell us all about why Observability loves the Elastic Common Schema. As we all love to hear about war stories, told with passion by the people who have been operating in the trenches, we hope to see you there numerous. Please check out the [meetup event page](https://www.meetup.com/fr-FR/elastic-switzerland/events/265117142/) and register if you're around **Lausanne, Switzerland on October 22nd**. ---
