# Change dashboard IDs

Hello I Export my dashboard with all the virtualizations, and after that I want to load it back into Kibana with a new index-pattern, but I face the problem that Dashboard rewrites the past dashboard, I understand that in order for this to not happen it is necessary to change "Id" in the whole file export.ndjson, is there any way to do it automatically if I have about 68+ virtualizations and this process takes a long time

You can write a script to change it. There is no way to do it automatically from the Kibana API.
