Hey guys,

I recently had a request from my colleague if we can change the UI language of Kibana from English to German or any other language.
Is it possible?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Balaji

We currently provide translations for simplified Chinese and Japanese via the `i18n.locale` configuration. You can add a +1 to the issue where we're tracking German language support here: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/32798](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/32798)

You can also look at our i18n setup here, which is under the Elastic license: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/tree/master/packages/kbn-i18n](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/tree/master/packages/kbn-i18n)
