# Change name of system deployment

Hello!  
Did anyone change name of the system deployments in ECE? I'm thinking of:  
logging-and-metrics  
admin-console-elasticsearch  
security

It would make my life easier to set a uniform prefix to them like SYSTEM-logging-and-metrics. I just want to make sure that there are no system stuff depending on the deployment names before I go ahead.

Hi @lovegronvall

We store ids of these clusters, so it would be a pretty big bug on our part if we depended on the names, and I have not come across anything like that (and would be pretty surprised if there were any hidden bugs like that).

So you should be safe.

(That said, I don't believe I've heard of anyone changing them before)
