Hello, my English is not very good, but I want to ask you a question, to see if it is possible what I am trying to do or not.

![Selection_050](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/elastic/original/3X/c/2/c2595d3193b3d1ffed7cf37d45d07f479b3c9c34.png)
I need to change the NAME of the "type" section, in several indices already created and with data, I need to join them and that 3 indices are only 1 and with the same name in "type", I managed to join the 3 indices but I cannot change the name said, is it possible? or it is not. I've been with this problem for 7 days

You want to change `type` to something else, right?

How do you index data to Elasticsearch? That is where you would need to change it.

Use the `_reindex` API.
