I have processed some of the log files and tested ELK with command line inputs.
There is a lot of mess in Kibana with these testing data.

Can anyone please let me know how do I cleanup Kibana ? I need to clear everything what I have processed till date.

Another question I have is how do I parse different types of log files with ELK and have different indexes for these files?

FYI we’ve renamed ELK to the Elastic Stack, otherwise Beats and APM feel left out! 😉

You mean the data in Elasticsearch? You should use the APIs to [delete the indices](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.0/indices-delete-index.html) you don't need.

How are you parsing things now?

The setup I used was ==\> FileBeat --\> elastic search --\> Kibana

I'm parsing simple log files and displaying these in Kibana.

Now, Kibana is overloaded with junk testing data. How do I cleanup the data from elasticsearch ?
