# Clear metric filter count value

The pipeline is reading more then 9 millions/day of logs and I'm using the meter filter to get the rate of some events. I don't need the count value but and I'm not sure how for long logstash can sustain its increment. Is there any way to clear only the count value, keeping the rate values?
If it is not possible, it would be very useful if I could clear all counters everyday at midnight (UTC).
