Hi,
Where is my bad?
I try to configure a cluster of 2 nodes on my computer.
I have used 7.5.0 version
Below my config files : elasticsearch.yml

I have tried discovery.seed\_hosts and discovery.zen.ping.unicast.hosts

first :

cluster.name: ducat-assignment
node.name: node-1
network.host: localhost
http.port: 9200
transport.tcp.port: 9300
#discovery.seed\_hosts: ["localhost:9302"]
discovery.zen.ping.unicast.hosts: ["localhost:9302"]
cluster.initial\_master\_nodes: ["node-1", "node-2"]

second:

cluster.name: ducat-assignment
node.name: node-2
network.host: localhost
http.port: 9202
transport.tcp.port: 9302
discovery.zen.ping.unicast.hosts: ["localhost:9300"]
#discovery.seed\_hosts: ["localhost:9300"]
cluster.initial\_master\_nodes: ["node-1", "node-2"]

my check:

C:\Users\pc\>curl -XGET [http://localhost:9200/\_cluster/health?pretty](http://localhost:9200/_cluster/health?pretty)
{
"cluster\_name" : "ducat-assignment",
"status" : "yellow",
"timed\_out" : false,
"number\_of\_nodes" : 1,
"number\_of\_data\_nodes" : 1,
"active\_primary\_shards" : 5,
"active\_shards" : 5,
"relocating\_shards" : 0,
"initializing\_shards" : 0,
"unassigned\_shards" : 5,
"delayed\_unassigned\_shards" : 0,
"number\_of\_pending\_tasks" : 0,
"number\_of\_in\_flight\_fetch" : 0,
"task\_max\_waiting\_in\_queue\_millis" : 0,
"active\_shards\_percent\_as\_number" : 50.0
}

Thanks and regards

I think the first time you ran these nodes you had not configured them like this, and therefore the solution is to wipe their data paths and start again. There's [more detail in the docs](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/modules-discovery-bootstrap-cluster.html#modules-discovery-bootstrap-cluster-joining).
