# Collecting logstash stats on K8S with metricbeat

Hi,

I am just starting to move our stack to a containerised environment using K8S. It's all going well so far with Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash all running. I usually monitor our logstash pipelines with metricbeat, but can't figure out how to do that when logstash is containerised.

Most documentation regarding metricbeat and kubernetes is about monitoring kubernetes itself rather than how to enable the logstash module.

If anyone has done this, I'd really appreciate some pointers.
