Hi,

I would like to check with other Windows users, if you still can pass parameters to ES when you start a node (ES 0.17.8).

Does :
elasticsearch -Des.cluster.name=myclustername

works for you ?

As it doesn't work for me (tried on 0.17.6 and 0.17.8), I would like to know for other users before going deeper in my tests (try with 0.16.5 and master version).

thanks
David 😉

It does not work in the windows elasticsearch batch file. Though, if you can
add it (my bat foo is poor), it would be great.

Thanks.

I will submit a patch for this.

Hi Shay,

Sorry to nag but could you accept this pull request
[Use parameters given by user to launch ES in Windows Script by dadoonet · Pull Request #1414 · elastic/elasticsearch · GitHub](https://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/pull/1414) before
releasing 0.17 and 0.18 versions ?

Thanks,
David.
