# Compile OSS Beats

Dear Sirs,

I have successfully compiled beats from [https://github.com/elastic/beats](https://github.com/elastic/beats) on a Pine64 arm64 device.

However, it will not connect to my elasticsearch. I think the verion produced is not the OSS version.

Can someone tell me how to compile just the oss version as there are no arm packages.

Basic Process

1. Install Golang 1.14
2. git clobne the above repo
3. cd filebeat directory
4. go build -x -v

Any help appreciated
