# Composite Aggregation - Too many buckets

Hi All ,

Facing the below issue while using composite aggregation and get buckets data  
[Elasticsearch exception [type=too\_many\_buckets\_exception, reason=Trying to create too many buckets. Must be less than or equal to: [65535] but was [67376].

Any pointers on this will be helpful .

You can [increase the limit](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/search-settings.html#search-settings-max-buckets) or remove a bucket and that would get you there.
